Last Saturday, we were involved with the "Vegas Streats! Festival" at the El Cortez Hotel & Casino in Downtown Las Vegas. If you didn't make it out, there were live performances, rotating djs, live graffiti artwork, break dancers, a bunch of local streetwear brands (including yours truly) & a line food trucks offering everything from specialty burgers & cheese steak sandwiches to caribbean cuisine & shaved ice. It was incredibly encouraging to see a festival like this make it's way to the Vegas community. From NY to LA, I've never experienced such a unique event that speaks directly to the locals, showcases some of the cities best talents in art, music, food & fashion & leaves it completely open to the public (you can't beat them $2 beers people). I can speak highly enough about "Vegas Streats!" & I urge everyone to come through next month & witness it for yourself. Many thanks to Slidin Thru & Civilian for letting us be a part of this...see you guys in April! Until next time Knyewtrons! Crooked signing out...
To get a more animated perspective of the event, here's a great video short made by Dome1ne Visuals who posted their coverage on youtube. Check it out...
