MIXTAPE MONDAYS: DJ Rec One & DJ Nugget

This week's entry for "Mixtape Mondays" is from my boy DJ Nugget who teamed up with DJ Rec One for their tribute CD entitled "Salute DJ Premier: The Best of DJ Premier Pt.1". Taking on a tribute CD is tough work especially when you're dealing with a catalogue as massive as DJ Premier. Personally, I'd find the task extremely intimidating but Nugget and Rec One put together a nice compilation of Primo's very best (and this is only part one). I met Nugget with his partner in crime DJ Zimmie when we spun together out in Pittsburgh, PA almost 2 years ago. Since then, I've flown down to Pittsburgh to spin at S Bar (big shout to Gabe) a bunch of times and Nugget & Zimmie have come to Las Vegas for almost every Magic Show Convention to spin for KNYEW at Studio 54 and V Bar. They've always showed me a great time whenever I stopped thru Pittsburgh and I will forever be thankful to them for introducing me to Primanti Sandwiches.
