KNYEW T-SHIRTS: "MLB" Sneak Peek

For the past couple of months, me and the fellas had been hard at work on a bunch of new projects. We're in the process of developing a new wall unit at the store exclusively for Crooks & Castles as well as KNYEW promotional items like stickers and beachballs (yes beachballs!!!). By far, our biggest project at the shop right now are KNYEW T-shirts. I've been working with a our designers, Sean & Marvski, on some new t-shirt designs & colorways for next month. We just finished work on our "MLB" design which is going into production in the next week. We reached out to our boys at FREE GOLD WATCH to print up all our new tees and they've been looking out for us big time (thanks Jordon). Here's a breakdown on the new "MLB" tee coming soon...

I had an idea of combining different letters from various Major League Baseball teams to spell out "KNYEW". I knew the NY Yankees was a definite must have for the design and one of our experiments were using white/grey pinstripes for their logo.

One of our biggest concerns for "MLB" was the horizontal bar across the bottom of the design. After almost a hundred emails, we finally decided to drop the horizontal bar and go for a clean look. Many thanks to Sean & Jordon at FGW for accommodating those changes. Here's the final design we all agreed on.

We sent the final drafts to FGW & they got started on a quick sample.

Here's a the final test print for our "MLB" tee in black and white.

We're gonna be printing on American Apparel tees and they'll be available in both men & womens sizes. There'll be a small twist on the womens "MLB" tees but it'll pretty much be the same design.
