MIXTAPE MONDAYS: DJ Beatnick
This week's entry for "Mixtape Mondays" is a special r&b/soul mix made by my boy DJ Beatnick aka Lurk-Master No.1 from San Diego. This mixtape is presented by my boys at Sleeping Giant Music and was made exclusively for Beatnick's peoples at Made Jewelry, a custom designer jewelry company based in San Francisco. I heard some of the tracks at Beatnick's crib during pre-production and I knew instantly that I wanted to feature it for "Mixtape Mondays" as soon as it was done. I'm in Diego almost every month for work, spending my Sunday mornings hung over, chilling with Beatnick, eating Pho, talking about nutty chicks, going mixtape shopping and copping gear at Blends, Un|Steady and 5&A Dime. Good looks to my man Beatnick & Mr. Mention for the "Made Mix" and a big shot to my peoples at Sleeping Giant Music for the free download. Crooked signing out...enjoy people!
