MIXTAPE MONDAYS: DJ Sean Perry
This week's entry for "Mixtape Mondays" is called "Coo11in" from our own New York hellfire & devoted Knyewtron, "DJ Sean Perry". Whenever Sean releases a new mixtape, I'm always anxious to hear them cause they never disappoint. "Coo11in" is a straight up, raw hip-hop/r&b mix that ends with a splash of Dance/Electro, perfect for listening to in your whip while you're driving down the block or lamping at the park, drinking something cold in a paper bag. I've had the pleasure of knowing Sean for almost 6 years & not only is he a good friend but he's one of my favorite DJ's in the game. When Sean's not pulling suckas crowns on Twitter or spinning high profile events like "The Hamptons Magazine Party for Mary J. Blige", you can catch him headlining at some of the hottest venues in Manhattan (Tenjune, SL, Juliet) & the Hamptons (SL East). Many thanks to Sean Perry for putting out another classic mixtape. I'll catch up with you next week homie while you're out here in the LV City (definitely no trip to the Rhino this time around tho). Enjoy Knyewtrons...Neva!

Greg N-I-C-E hangin' at K-N-Y-E-W
Yesterday afternoon, our boy & long time Knyewtron supporter, DJ Direct, stopped by the shop with the one & only Greg Nice from Nice & Smooth. Flying in from NY to Vegas for his performance at LAVO's "Oldschool Weds" party, Greg Nice arrived a day early to wild out with Direct & ofcourse, cop some gear from his NY bredrens at KNYEW (it's mandatory people). In case you youngsta's don't know, Nice & Smooth are known for a bunch of hits like "Funky For You", "Hip-Hop Junkies", "Sometimes I Rhyme Slow" & the classic "Dwyck" with Gangstarr front man Guru (RIP).
